Course Objectives The aim of this course is allow students to have theoretical and practical knowledge about such subjects as shop management concepts, store management terms, the organizational structure of stores, shops in human resources and financial management, assortment, inventory management, the promotion in stores and advertising operating.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define the retail concept and the terms related to retailing
  • Define the problems related to store management and offer solutions
  • Count the types of products and stock
  • Market and sell the products with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Care about of the customer satisfaction the first order, and perform studies of innovation in this area
  • Perform leadership to the team
Course Description Within the scope of the course, primarily; will be explained concept and development of the retail, the concept of store management, store management terms. Later; will be given detailed information on topics such as organizational structure of stores, shops in human resources and financial management, product variety, inventory management, stores promotion and advertising operating. In this course students learn the theoretical knowledge into practice by supporting the presentation will be provided.
